President Honored Fallen Navy Servicemen in Odesa

On Ukrainian Navy Day, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored the memory of sailors who gave their lives in battles with Russian occupiers in Odesa.

The honor guard warriors placed a wreath of flowers from the Head of State at the Memorial Stele to the fallen Navy servicemen in the Odesa port.

Participating in the ceremony with the President were: Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs Caspar Veldkamp, Dutch Minister of Defense Ruben Brekelmans, UK Secretary of State for Defense John Healey, Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, Ukrainian Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the Ukrainian Navy Oleksiy Neizhpapa, and Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper.

To the sound of surma, those present paid tribute to the fallen defenders.
