President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker and U.S. Representative to the European Union Gordon Sondland.
The Head of State thanked the U.S. side for its consistent support of Ukraine and the U.S. efforts aimed at achieving a peaceful settlement to conflict in Donbas.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed with Representatives of the US Administration the current situation in the Joint Forces Operation zone, in particular the process of separation of troops around Stanytsia Luhanska.
During the meeting, it was noted the necessity of taking steps by the occupation authorities, which will allow successfully complete the process of separation of troops and improve the humanitarian situation on the red line.
The parties voiced a hope that the cease-fire regime, which was installed on July 21, would be comprehensive and permanent and that any armed provocations on the part of the occupied territories would be permanently discontinued.
