President of Ukraine made a submission to the Verkhovna Rada on the dismissal of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Defense and Head of the Security Service

On May 30, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a submission to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the dismissal of two ministers and the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine.

The Head of State appealed to the Parliament to dismiss Pavlo Klimkin from the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Stepan Poltorak - from the post of Minister of Defense of Ukraine. The third submission concerns the dismissal of Vasyl Hrytsak from the post of Head of the Security Service of Ukraine.

The submission reads that the Head of State is acting on the basis of the Constitution and the relevant laws of Ukraine. The President of Ukraine insists on urgent consideration of these issues by the Parliament.

In addition, files are being drafted in the Presidential Administration of Ukraine as regards the dismissal of Yuriy Lutsenko from the post of Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
