President of Ukraine - Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine appointed a new Chief of the General Staff - Commander-in-Chief of the AFU

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Lieutenant General Ruslan Khomchak to the post of Chief of the General Staff - Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Head of State signed the corresponding decree today.

By his another decree, the President of Ukraine dismissed General of the Army Viktor Muzhenko from the post of Chief of the General Staff - Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

General of the Army Viktor Muzhenko has been leading the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since July 2014.
