During his visit to Canada, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Chrystia Freeland in Toronto on July 2.
The President thanked Canada for its consistent comprehensive support for Ukraine at the bilateral level and in the framework of multilateral cooperation formats, in particular the G7 and the UN.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Chrystia Freeland underscored the importance of consolidation of international coalition to counter Russia’s aggression.
The President of Ukraine also expressed gratitude to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada for organizing a representative international conference on reforms in Ukraine opened today in Toronto.
In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Ukraine's course towards full membership in the EU and NATO remains unchanged. He also expressed hope for the further active interaction with Canada in the issues of Euro-Atlantic integration of our country.
