President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan, who is on a visit to Ukraine.
The Head of State noted Türkiye's continued and consistent support for Ukraine, as well as diplomatic efforts of its leadership, primarily President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, aimed at ending the war and restoring stability and security in the Black Sea region.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Türkiye for its humanitarian support and assistance in the release of Ukrainian captives.
The Head of State emphasized the importance of the Turkish President's address to the participants of the 3rd Summit of the International Crimea Platform.
"We heard very important signals of support for our territorial integrity and sovereignty. It is important that President Erdoğan addressed us with the words that Crimea is Ukraine," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
The parties discussed the risks posed by Russia's blockade of the Black Sea grain corridor.
The parties paid special attention to the state of implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and preparations for the global summit on its implementation.
"Türkiye has become one of the first leaders of the Peace Formula. We count on the further active role of the Republic of Türkiye in its implementation," the Head of State said.
For his part, the Turkish Foreign Minister emphasized his country's unwavering support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as the importance of the Ukrainian Peace Formula.
