President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone call with President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, during which he expressed condolences over the horrific tragedy.
The Ukrainian leader told his Turkish counterpart that he had made a decision to provide humanitarian aid to the Republic of Türkiye to help overcome the aftermath of the emergency situation in the country caused by the earthquakes.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed that a group of Ukrainian rescuers and the necessary equipment had been sent to help the people of Türkiye.
"Ukrainian specialists have relevant experience in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and will arrive in the affected regions as soon as possible. They will help with the whole range of work on the recovery from the earthquake," the President of Ukraine emphasized.
