President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with President of Poland Andrzej Duda.
The interlocutors discussed the implementation of the agreements reached during the Normandy format negotiations in Paris on December 9.
The Head of State thanked Andrzej Duda for Poland's active position in support of Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty. The President of Poland noted that his state would continue to advocate the continuation of sanction pressure on the Russian Federation until full implementation of the Minsk agreements and restoration of Ukraine's sovereignty.
The leaders paid special attention to energy security in Europe. Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed the interlocutor of the steps Ukraine is taking to conclude a new agreement on the transit of Russian gas.
During the conversation, the parties noted positive changes in the issue of granting permits by Poland for international road haulage for this year.
The interlocutors touched upon the issues of cooperation in the framework of international and regional initiatives, discussed the priorities of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine, and agreed the schedule of bilateral activities for the next year.
