President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone conversation with President of Finland Alexander Stubb to exchange views on the current developments and coordinate the next joint steps.
The Head of State informed his counterpart about the situation on the battlefield and the need to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense. He emphasized that a just and sustainable peace can only be achieved by reinforcing Ukraine with defense packages and maintaining pressure on Russia, particularly through sanctions.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Alexander Stubb discussed relations with the United States and Russia’s rejection of the American proposal for an unconditional ceasefire.
The leaders also coordinated the next joint steps and contacts with partners.
The President of Ukraine thanked the President of Finland for his support, advice, and readiness to make efforts toward achieving a dignified peace.
