President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone call with the newly elected Prime Minister of New Zealand Christopher Mark Luxon.
The Head of State thanked the Prime Minister for the military, financial and humanitarian aid provided by New Zealand to Ukraine amid the full-scale invasion of Russia. Confidence was expressed in the further comprehensive support for our country by the new government of New Zealand.
The President highly appreciated New Zealand's clear support for our state on international platforms, the imposition of sanctions against Russia, participation in the activities of the Contact Group in the "Ramstein" format, and involvement in legal processes to hold the aggressor state accountable.
During the conversation, the parties discussed Ukraine's defense needs, taking into account the current situation at the front, further cooperation in the field of humanitarian demining, and New Zealand's involvement in projects to rebuild our country.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed about the progress made by Ukraine in restoring freedom of navigation in the Black Sea and ensuring the operation of a special maritime corridor.
Special attention was paid to the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and the organization of the Global Peace Summit.
