President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone call with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte.
The Head of State noted the final decision of the Supreme Court of the Netherlands on the transfer of museum exhibits from the exhibition "Crimea - a Golden Island in the Black Sea" ("Scythian Gold") to Ukraine.
"The Netherlands has confirmed its leadership in the protection of international law," Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.
The President informed Mark Rutte of the situation in the regions of Ukraine affected by the Russian act of terrorism at the dam of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station. The Head of State expressed gratitude for the humanitarian aid to eliminate the consequences of this man-made disaster. In particular, the Netherlands sent rescue boats, pumps, water filters, field hospitals and other equipment to Ukraine.
In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the current situation on the frontline and Ukraine's current defense needs.
The interlocutors discussed the continuation of security cooperation, in particular, the training of Ukrainian pilots and the strengthening of Ukraine's sky shield.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Mark Rutte coordinated their positions before the next meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defense in the Ramstein format.
