President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone conversation with Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre.
The Head of State informed the Prime Minister about today’s Russian strikes targeting civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. All relevant services are working at the sites, assisting the victims and eliminating the consequences of these attacks.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Jonas Gahr Støre focused on upcoming engagements with partners and coordinated their joint positions. It is essential to maintain pressure on Russia for the sake of peace, and Norway supports this approach.
The President noted that the first step toward achieving a just and sustainable peace must be a full and unconditional ceasefire – exactly as proposed by the United States and supported by Ukraine.
A separate discussion was held on expanding security cooperation in multilateral formats. The leaders agreed to explore all possible options for such cooperation.
The Head of State thanked Norway for its support and for all efforts aimed at achieving a just peace.
