President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy received the letters of credence from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye, Mustafa Levent Bilgen, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, Radek Pech, and the Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Ronald Dofing, who have commenced their duties in our country.
The solemn ceremony traditionally took place on the territory of the National Reserve Sophia of Kyiv in the capital.
During the conversation with Mustafa Levent Bilgen, the President of Ukraine greeted the friendly Turkish people on the significant occasion of the 100th anniversary of the proclamation of the Turkish Republic and wished them further development and prosperity. Volodymyr Zelenskyy also expressed gratitude to the President of Türkiye for the unwavering support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders.
The active participation of Türkiye in the national security advisors' meetings on the Peace Formula was highly appreciated, as well as its readiness to lead the implementation of the point of the Formula regarding food security.
The future joint steps to ensure the functioning of grain corridors, the implementation of the Grain from Ukraine global humanitarian initiative, and the priority directions of Ukrainian-Turkish security cooperation were separately discussed. The Head of State emphasized Türkiye's important position in furthering Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
During the conversation with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the Czech Republic for comprehensive support to Ukraine in countering Russian aggression, particularly for Prague's readiness to provide a joint defense assistance package with Denmark. Views on the collaboration between the two countries in the defense sector, considering the priority needs of Ukrainian defenders, as well as enhancing cooperation in the field of defense industry, were exchanged.
The President expressed gratitude for the Czech Republic's support of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and hoped for continued active engagement from Prague in its practical implementation and the preparation for the Global Peace Summit. Special attention was given to the issues of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine and the importance of Czech support for our country's progress towards the EU and NATO. Volodymyr Zelenskyy positively assessed the Czech Republic's active stance regarding Ukraine's reconstruction.
During the conversation with Ronald Dofing, the President expressed gratitude for Luxembourg's support of our state in the struggle against Russian aggression and highlighted the active personal stance of the Prime Minister of Luxembourg. The Head of State also highly appreciated Luxembourg's transfer of armored medical vehicles to Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Luxembourg for its participation in the national security advisors' meeting on the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula, which took place in Malta. Emphasis was placed on the importance of Luxembourg's support for the decision to start negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU during the December meeting of the European Council. The Head of State noted the necessity of developing a mechanism that would enable the use of frozen Russian assets by Luxembourg for Ukraine's reconstruction.
