President of Ukraine introduced new Minister of Foreign Affairs Vadym Prystaiko

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy introduced new Minister of Foreign Affairs Vadym Prystaiko to the staff of the ministry.

Addressing the staff of the ministry, the Head of State noted that he was pleased to get acquainted with the Ukrainian diplomatic “troops”.

“You are well aware of the developments in our country and abroad. One of the major wars is diplomatic war. I want to thank you for defending Ukraine every day, morning and evening, and sometimes at night. I respect your work and I am sure that you are true professionals,” the President emphasized.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the diplomats knew Vadym Prystaiko well and stressed that he was satisfied with his work as Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

“I've been working with him for about four months. I am very pleased with our work. Sometimes there are difficult decisions and difficult conversations. There were telephone conversations with very difficult people - we had to make a decision in a second, and I saw how Vadym did it, he really helped me a lot,” the Head of State said.

The President expressed confidence that under the leadership of Vadym Prystaiko, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Ukrainian diplomacy would reach an even higher level.

For his part, the Minister of Foreign Affairs noted that only a part of the diplomatic "army" was present today - those who were in the rear. And those who are now on the “frontline” are twice as many.

"Your "army" (diplomatic - ed.) is trained, disciplined, experienced and ready to act. Please count on us. We are grateful for the attention and respect for our department. We appreciate everything,” Vadym Prystaiko said.
