President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy introduced new Ivano-Frankivsk RSA Head Denys Shmygal during his working trip to the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
"Denys Shmygal is a very qualified specialist. I honestly envy the Ivano-Frankivsk region. It is difficult for us to choose the Heads of Regional State Administrations in Ukraine as a whole, because there are no staff. And if there are staff, then there is no money for them. There are few people who really want to do something good for Ukraine in our short term. And this is one of those people," the President emphasized and handed over the certificate of the RSA Head to Denys Shmygal.
For his part, a new RSA Head said that managing the region is a big responsibility, and expressed his hope for assistance in the implementation of all plans. "Among the priorities, of course, is the development of infrastructure, its rehabilitation. One of the main problems that must be solved is the restoration of roads, bridges, because without this we can not talk about tourism, industry or investors," Denys Shmygal emphasized.
He also focused attention on the importance of solving environmental problems (illegal dumpings, waste water treatment plants), as well as supporting business and implementing a number of urgent issues in the social sphere, in particular in education and medicine.
The RSA Head noted that the style of his leadership will be transparent.
"The management style is European, honest, transparent, close to people. Improving well-being in our region is key effectiveness parameter of our work. Thank you for your trust. I will do my best to justify it," he said.
