President of Ukraine: Our priority is to establish the truth and those responsible for the UIA plane crash in Tehran

Ukrainian officials of expert and search and rescue teams will be involved in the investigation, identification and repatriation of the bodies of Ukrainians killed in the crash of PS 752 flight of Ukraine International Airlines at the airport of Tehran (Iran), as stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“This evening our plane with officials of expert and search and rescue teams departs to Iran. These include representatives of the State Emergency Service, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Security and Defense Council, the State Aviation Service, the National Bureau of Air Accidents Investigation of Ukraine, and Ukraine International Airlines. They will all be involved in the investigation, identification and repatriation of the bodies of Ukrainians killed in the plane crash,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

According to the Head of State, constant consultations with foreign partners of Ukraine are also being held in order to determine the causes of the tragedy.

"Our priority is to establish the truth and those responsible for this terrible catastrophe," the President emphasized.
