As part of events marking the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and leaders of foreign nations and international organizations were introduced to the latest unmanned systems and other defense technologies produced in Ukraine.
From now on, all Ukrainian-made defense products will be unified under the name ZBROYA. This encompasses Ukraine’s entire defense industry, which has been revived and significantly developed over the past three years of full-scale Russian invasion. This ecosystem brings together Ukraine’s Defense Forces, ministries, government agencies, state-owned and private manufacturers, incubators and accelerators, research institutes and universities, volunteers, and various foundations. In total, there are around 800 manufacturers and over 1,000 teams working on cutting-edge defense technology solutions.
"We take pride in our large-scale production of drones, electronic warfare systems, and other weaponry. We started in the first days of the war, and today we have significantly expanded our capabilities," President Zelenskyy stated.
During the presentation, Ukrainian-made technologies widely used on the front lines were showcased, including reconnaissance UAVs, FPV drones on fiber optics, ground robotic platforms, interceptor drones, electronic warfare and signals intelligence systems, communication systems, river drones, and drone missiles.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to all partners who have supported Ukraine’s defense industry, particularly those contributing through the successful Danish model.
"Today you have seen some important things that you have invested in. You have seen what we already have, what is truly working, and what is protecting us. And you also got an exclusive look at the 'Palianytsia' drone missile, which is already in action on the battlefield. This long-range weapon is something the Russians really don’t like," the President emphasized.
