During his visit to Ukraine, Orlando Bloom visited the cities of Kyiv and Irpin, as well as the village of Demydiv, where he saw the terrible consequences of the war that has been going on in our country for over a year. At the meeting with the Head of State, he emphasized that he was impressed by the courage and resilience of Ukrainians who, despite the war, remain strong.

The President thanked Orlando Bloom for his visit to Ukraine and for his work as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.

"Thank you for your visit, which is an important message. It is of great importance to us that the world knows what is happening in Ukraine during the war. Of course, thank you for the help you provide directly to the children," said the Head of State.

The President emphasized the importance of creating a safe environment for Ukrainian children - both for those who are in Ukraine and for those who were forced to leave our country due to the war.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted the special importance of the development of family forms of upbringing in Ukraine, as this reform is one of the priorities of our state.

The President also thanked UNICEF for providing laptops to Ukrainian children's institutions. Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed to enhance this program with an information campaign with the participation of Orlando Bloom.

In addition, the Head of State called on UNICEF to direct efforts to provide Ukrainian schools with bomb shelters.

"Of course, providing schools with bomb shelters is a big challenge. During the war, material support for such initiatives is of particular importance to us, because we focus all our efforts on the defense of our state," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

Orlando Bloom said that he visited one of the schools in Irpin, which is equipped with a bomb shelter. According to him, such projects are important for UNICEF.
