President holds meeting of Staff of Supreme Commander-in-Chief

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a regular meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief on Friday.

The meeting participants heard information about the current situation on the front line. Particular attention was paid to the protection of Ukrainian positions in Donetsk region – near Bakhmut, Vuhledar, as well as in Kreminna district of Luhansk region and other areas of the front where active hostilities continue.

Intelligence leadership reported on the actions of the enemy and its near plans.

The provision of equipment and ammunition to the defense forces and their distribution among the groups was also discussed.

In addition, the effectiveness of countermeasures taken by the air defense forces of Ukraine against today's massive missile attack by the terrorist state was considered at the meeting of the Staff. Necessary orders were given to eliminate the consequences of missile hits on energy infrastructure facilities.

Separately, the participants of the meeting focused on the preparation for the next Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting at Ramstein air base, taking into account the agreements reached by President Zelenskyy during recent foreign visits.

The meeting was attended by Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny, Head of Defense Intelligence Kyrylo Budanov, and commanders of the task forces.

Members of the government, heads of security and law enforcement agencies also attended the meeting.
