During a working trip to the Chernihiv region, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy inspected the progress of repairs on the public road of state importance P-67 Chernihiv - Nizhyn - Pryluky - Pyryatyn.

The Head of State inspected the area near the village of Obychiv. The works are carried out in the framework of the National Program "Great Construction".

According to Oleksandr Kubrakov, Head of the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine (Ukravtodor), the road connects the international highways M-01, M-02, M-03 and the national H-07, and is the shortest exit from Central Ukraine to the Baltic states. It also provides communication between the Chernihiv and Poltava regions, connecting a number of administrative centers - regional and district ones. In addition, it is part of the state tourist route "Slavutych Necklace", provides international car tourism, Also it is a school route and an emergency medical care route.

In general, as noted by Oleksandr Kubrakov, the Chernihiv and Sumy regions were among those where major road repairs were carried out in minimal quantities or postponed.

"It is sad that there were years of no repair at all, and it is good that now the situation is different," the President said.

The Head of Ukravtodor also said that next year it is planned to repair the H-07 route, which is the shortest route from Kyiv to Sumy.
