President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will analyze the success of the implementation of the program "Great Construction" initiated by him at the end of the year, when the deadline set for the completion of construction in 2020 will end. Then, the Head of State will be able to compare how effective this or that region was in the implementation of the program.

"I will be able to make a real analysis of this project at the end of the year. Probably earlier. We have regions where 90-95 percent of all facilities were built. There are regions with overfulfillment, where along the way we saw that instead of 5-7 schools, 12-15 are being fundamentally built. That is, people are even a year ahead of schedule,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a conversation with media representatives within a working trip to the Zhytomyr region.

At the same time, he stressed that for a number of reasons, some regions are currently not on schedule. Nevertheless, the Head of State noted that the promises given to society must be fulfilled.

"Tender procedures, blocking, courts, funds were not transferred ... One region received funds, others didn’t. There are many different reasons. And there is nothing to be ashamed of. There are real reasons, we must draw conclusions and keep our promises. If we do not fulfill the promises given to society in time, I think we will draw certain conclusions," the Head of State said.
