President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy started a working trip to the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The Head of State arrived in Kryvyi Rih by airliner. This is the first flight made by WindRose airline on the route Kyiv - Kryvyi Rih. Regular flights of the airline on this route started today.
"Today, flights of Ukrainian airlines to Kryvyi Rih, where planes have not flown for a long time, are being opened," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
Earlier, regular flights to Chernivtsi and Uzhhorod were opened.
"This is happening in the framework of the development of airports and air communication in order to make it convenient for people from remote regions to get to Kyiv. There has not been such a great development of regional air communication for a long time," said Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the President's Office.
According to him, regional airports of Ukraine are being developed in the framework of the Large Construction program.
During a working trip to the Dnipropetrovsk region, the Head of State will inspect the facilities that are being built and reconstructed in the framework of the Large Construction program.
In addition, the meeting of the Chamber of Regions of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities will be held in Dnipro under the chairmanship of the President.
