While on a working trip to the Cherkasy region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy introduced the new head of the Cherkasy regional state administration Serhiy Serhiychuk.
At a meeting with business representatives of the region, the Head of State presented an official ID to the new head of the region.
"We are changing the head of the regional state administration in the Cherkasy region. The main reason is that we want to see the result. We want to see something better than this,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
"I really want you to start working right away. So that both business and people see your support at once. This means that this is not only your support, but also that of the authorities and the President," he added.
The new head of the region Serhiy Serhiychuk thanked the Head of State for the trust and promised to work for the result.
"I will develop the region to make the life of Cherkasy residents better. This includes attracting investment and creating new jobs, ensuring economic and medical security, and improving the quality of education. This is the "Great Construction" as well,” Serhiy Serhiychuk said.
