President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commissioned law enforcement bodies to assess the actions of employees of the State Bureau of Investigation who allowed the seizure of military equipment from the Air Force units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine endangering the combat readiness of Ukraine's air defense units.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed deep concern over the actions of the SBI as regards the interference in the activities of the Air Force, which directly affects the implementation of tasks for the protection of state airspace.
"The leadership of the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Bureau of Investigation should immediately provide an appropriate legal assessment of the actions of their employees and take comprehensive measures to minimize the possible consequences. I am taking the situation on this issue under personal control,” the President said.
