In his evening address, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that Russia continues its attacks on Ukrainian cities and villages.
The previous day, the Russian Federation launched “Shahed” drones at Kharkiv, damaging a hospital, residential buildings, and civilian infrastructure. As a result, 55 people were injured, including five children. Today, the Cherkasy region has been attacked by drones, the Kherson region hit by artillery and drone-dropped explosives on ordinary buildings and civilians, the Donetsk region struck by guided aerial bombs, drones and artillery, Zaporizhzhia attacked by drones, the Dnipro region hit by guided aerial bombs and drones, the Sumy region targeted by guided aerial bombs and drones, and the Kharkiv region struck by guided aerial bombs.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy recognized the rescuers of the State Emergency Service who have been working to save our people these weeks.
In particular, these are the employees of the State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv region: Deputy Head of the State Fire and Rescue Station Anatolii Yaskovets, Firefighters and Rescuers Andrii Bondar, Dmytro Kutia and Vladyslav Oliinyk, Rescuer Vladyslav Makarichev, Mechanic-Driver Yevhen Makovetskyi and Unit Commander Artem Moskalenko.
Rescuers from the State Emergency Service in the Dnipro region: Deputy Head of the Operational Coordination Center Oleksandr Tykva, Deputy Head of the State Fire and Rescue Squad Henadii Petrenko, Chiefs of Guard Pavlo Haidukov and Oleksii Kvasov, Senior Firefighter and Rescuer Oleksandr Khantytskyi, Unit Commander Kostiantyn Rezun and Firefighter and Rescuer Vladyslav Shypin.
Personnel of the State Emergency Service in the Sumy region: Head of the State Fire and Rescue Station Oleksandr Klochkov, Chiefs of Guard Oleh Hetman and Oleksandr Myhal, Unit Commander Mykola Bychenko, Firefighters and Rescuers Viacheslav Tovkach and Serhii Nenia, Drivers Andrii Chuchyn and Anatolii Herhela.
