During a working trip to the Donetsk region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the frontline in the JFO area.
The Head of State got himself acquainted with the operational situation a few hundred meters from the touch line and had a conversation with the military.
"It is important that the senior officers are on the frontline. We spoke with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ruslan Khomchak about the rotation of senior officers. So that they constantly visit our boys and girls on the frontline," the President noted.
Soldiers of the 503rd separate marine battalion on the frontline presented a commemorative badge - coin to the President as a sign that "they are always ready to help, always happy to see him and consider him a friend".
Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the military with state awards and valuable gifts.
