Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed Decree No. 30/2024 on "Urgent Steps to Ensure Economic Security during the Period of the Legal Regime of Martial Law."
According to the decree, a consultative advisory body, the Council for Entrepreneurship Support in the Conditions of Martial Law, is established under the President of Ukraine. The Council aims to consolidate efforts between the state and business during martial law, preserving and developing entrepreneurial potential.
The Council's main tasks include a systematic analysis of ensuring the right to doing business during martial law, shaping state policy to guarantee the right to entrepreneurship, and developing proposals for the President of Ukraine to address problematic issues.
The Council for Entrepreneurship Support is expected to facilitate effective collaboration between the government and business entities, relevant public associations, and the dissemination of the best international practices.
The decree also approves the composition of the Council for Entrepreneurship Support.
Furthermore, to ensure effective dialogue and the collaboration of efforts between the government and business in overcoming challenges and consequences caused by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, stimulating business activity among Ukrainian producers, popularizing and promoting Ukrainian products, improving the investment climate, and creating economic conditions for the recovery, modernization, and growth of Ukraine's economy, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed Decree No. 31/2024, inaugurating the Ukrainian Economic Platform "Made in Ukraine."
The platform is established under the patronage of the President of Ukraine for continuous communication and coordination of interactions between government bodies, representatives of relocated enterprises, large-, medium-, and small-sized Ukrainian businesses, entrepreneurial public associations, foreign investors, political figures, scholars, and experts.
The Office of the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers, regional state administrations, in collaboration with business associations and experts, are tasked with presenting the concept and structure of the "Made in Ukraine" platform's functioning and ensuring a start of the platform within a month.
