President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy inspected the course of overhaul of the building and elements of landscaping of the territory of the Educational Complex № 33 "Mariyinsky Multidisciplinary Gymnasium - Secondary School of the First Degree" in Dnipro.
The cost of all necessary planned works is over UAH 120 million, currently the project is financed by UAH 61.5 million.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy personally inspected the reconstruction of the stadium, as well as the condition of the primary school classroom, a small gym and a choreography hall.
"This school is 155 years old, the oldest school in Dnipro, and it looks very modern. It would be a pleasure for me to study in such classes," the President stated. The Head of State stressed that the renovation of the educational institution is extremely important, as the Dnipropetrovsk region is in the "green zone", and therefore next week children will go to school.
"Imagine how many cool educational facilities, social infrastructure, good roads we would already have, if all our predecessors did not steal, but actually spent funds on the construction and development of infrastructure," the President commented.
In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy was told about the projects being implemented in the Dnipropetrovsk region in the framework of the National Program "Great Construction". In particular, repair works have started in 13 ER departments - in October, equipment will be delivered to the new premises.
In addition, five sports facilities are being renovated in the region, the readiness of which is 70%.
Also, 23 medical institutions, 10 kindergartens and 22 schools are being built and reconstructed at the expense of the regional budget.
