During the working visit to Mariupol, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy examined the procedure of underwater mine clearance in the Sea of Azov.
On the deck of "Captain Chusov", the Head of State watched the demonstration exercises of the maritime units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, State Border Service, National Guard, mine pickers and divers of underwater demining. The units worked out the detention of the offending vessel using the helicopter of the National Guard and the ships of the maritime guard.
Also, the units carried out rappelling in the Sea of Azov.
The Head of State examined the boats of the State Emergency Service and the Maritime Border Guard.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy got himself acquainted with samples of equipment and uniform for special maritime security units.
