During a working trip to the Chernihiv region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the TK-Style clothing factory.
Founder of the enterprise Oleksandr Sokolovskyi showed to the Head of State the samples of protective overalls for health workers manufactured at the enterprise. Overalls have different types of protection, depending on the needs of health workers. Different fabrics and technologies are used for their production.
The President got himself acquainted with the work of the R&D shop. Oleksandr Sokolovskyi noted that an enterprise has been established on the basis of the factory where only protective clothing for health workers will be produced. To do this, the latest equipment was purchased in Germany, each shift will include 16 employees. Ultrasonic welding will be used in the production of suits, which will ensure a high level of quality.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also visited the cutting and sewing production. Oleksandr Sokolovskyi explained that the clothes made at the factory are exported to the European Union and the United States.
"We are constantly updating our equipment," the company's founder said.
The President got himself acquainted with the work of the training center of the enterprise. Oleksandr Sokolovskyi told the President about the problem of personnel training. There is only one vocational school in Chernihiv, which has an insufficient number of students. Therefore, the TK-Style factory together with the Chernihiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry developed a project of a school of sewing skills on the basis of the enterprise, where future specialists get a profession in just two months with an opportunity to get a job immediately. 32 people have already gained qualification in the training center.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy praised the idea of creating a training center.
"I think it is a good idea. We need to talk to the Ministry of Education and Science. Because if we do not have enough students in vocational schools, but have a profession, there are people who can share their experience. Maybe they lack practice? Maybe it's not bad to take vocational schools and look at branch enterprises," the President said.
