During a working trip to the Zaporizhzhia region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy inspected the houses in Zaporizhzhia damaged as a result of Russian MLRS shelling on March 22 of this year.
Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Yuri Malashko and Head of the Main Department of the National Police in the region Artem Kysko reported to the President about the circumstances of the enemy terrorist attack and the elimination of the consequences.
As a result of the rocket hitting one of the nine-storey residential buildings, the supporting structures of one of the entrances were damaged. The collapse of the structures of the upper floors of this part of the building did not occur, but there is still a high probability of this. Therefore, it is necessary to dismantle this part of the building using special equipment.
Necessary medical assistance was provided to the injured residents. A mobile hospital was set up on the spot.
Temporary housing was provided to those who needed it. In the two most damaged buildings, dozens of apartments are uninhabitable.
At the scene of the tragedy, there are aid stations and a mobile administrative services center, where people can get all the necessary consultations and apply for the provision of material assistance.
