During his working trip to the Zakarpattia region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy got himself acquainted with the state of construction of a military town for the units of the 128th separate mountain-assault brigade.
The Head of State examined the newly built barracks, including rooms and a kitchen. The barracks will house 125 servicemen in 41 apartments.
“These are very good, modern conditions. I think those are the rooms where our military will feel comfortable,” the President said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also got himself acquainted with the progress of repairing the dining room. Its main hall is designed for 344 visitors, and the officer room is designed for 40 people. The reconstruction of the building was completed by 95% and the installation of the ventilation system is being completed. The latest kitchen equipment was demonstrated to the Head of State. The equipment will be put into operation next week.
The President was informed that the military town will be ready in May.
