President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the current generation is responsible for the environmental situation in the country, so it is important to adopt a number of laws on environmental protection in Ukraine. The Head of State said this during a conversation with media representatives in the framework of the All-Ukrainian Forum "Ukraine 30. Ecology".
The President noted that the current generation is responsible for the environment pollution: rivers, drinking water, air. Therefore, it is necessary to work towards the formation of a new attitude of Ukrainian citizens to the environment and their land.
"Several important environmental laws need to be passed. Despite the lobbying of big industry, we will definitely vote for them. They are actually ready, the discussion in the committees and voting in the Verkhovna Rada are ahead. I believe that in 2021 all major environmental laws will be passed," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
