President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania and Poland Gabrielius Landsbergis and Radosław Sikorski.
The Head of State thanked the partners for their significant defense support, particularly for the recent decisions on new assistance packages.
“We are grateful to your countries and peoples for their unwavering support. We are grateful that you have stood with us from the very beginning until our common victory,” the President said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed about the constant missile and bomb terror from the Russian Federation and stressed the necessity of using long-range weapons against military targets on the territory of the aggressor state.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the implementation of bilateral security agreements and the Peace Formula, preparations for the second Peace Summit, and negotiations between Ukraine and the EU. In particular, the parties discussed the importance of the forthcoming Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union for the realization of Ukraine's priorities on the path of European integration.
The Head of State also praised Lithuania's and Poland's support for Ukraine on its way to the EU and NATO accession.
“Gaining NATO membership is our strategic goal. It is the only reliable security commitment for Ukraine and all of Europe today,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy concluded.
