President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Armin Papperger, CEO of the German company Rheinmetall AG.
The Head of State thanked him for his dedicated and sincere support of Ukrainians, particularly highlighting the strategic partnership between Ukraine and Rheinmetall. This company was one of the first to initiate cooperation by localizing its production in Ukraine.
The main topic of the meeting was the development of joint projects between the Ukrainian and German defense industries. The President emphasized the importance of increasing investments in Ukraine as a means to strengthen European security.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Armin Papperger also discussed the expansion of cooperation in maintenance and repairs. Special focus was placed on the potential for launching joint production of 155-mm ammunition, specifically in Ukraine.
