During the meeting of the EU-Ukraine Foreign Ministers in Kyiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented state awards to the Foreign Ministers of Ireland, Italy, Romania, Denmark, and France.
The ministers were awarded for their significant personal contribution to strengthening interstate cooperation, upholding Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and championing our country in the world.
In particular, the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise II class was awarded to Tánaiste, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Defense of Ireland Micheál Martin.
The Head of State also presented the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise III class to Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy Antonio Tajani and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Luminița Odobescu.
In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the Order of Merit I class to Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Denmark Lars Løkke Rasmussen.
Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France Catherine Colonna was awarded the Order of Princess Olga III class.
"I thank you, your countries and governments for supporting Ukraine," the President said.
