During a working trip to the Khmelnytskyi region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in the presentation of the Khmelnytskyi Region Development Strategy until 2027.
During his speech, the Head of State noted that the development strategies of Ukrainian regions aim to determine the priorities of the regions: what exactly needs to be developed and what needs to be corrected.
According to him, each region of Ukraine should be as powerful as possible in different areas: economy, infrastructure, medicine, education, culture, sports, etc.
"You know, we have regions that are not inferior in territory to individual countries of the European Union. But we want our regions to be on the same level with European countries not only in terms of area, but also in terms of production, attracted investments, salaries, pensions, comfortable conditions, just normal living conditions," Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.
To this end, according to the President, each Ukrainian region, including Khmelnytskyi, has all the necessary prerequisites and great potential.
"For the Khmelnytskyi region, such are the agro-industrial sector, energy, small and medium business, innovative economy. In addition - tourism, recreation, and, of course, favorable geographical location. The Khmelnytskyi region is located at the intersection of both highways and railways, and, we can say, actually connects Ukraine," the President said.
