The Ministry of Health of Ukraine will continue to bring in the means and equipment needed to overcome the COVID-19 epidemic. This issue was previously dealt by the Office of the President. This was discussed at a daily meeting on the prevention of the spread of coronavirus chaired by Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"You must ensure the provision of masks, respirators, protective suits, ventilators and all the necessary supplies, so that hospitals, patients and healthy people have enough of everything and can recover and protect themselves from COVID-19," the Head of State addressed Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov.
Secretary of the Coordination Council on Combating the Spread of COVID-19 Kyrylo Tymoshenko announced that the next aircraft with the necessary means will soon arrive in Ukraine.
“The last aircraft, the logistics of which is organized by the Office of the President, will arrive shortly. There will be 400 thousand protective masks, eye protection means. In the future, the Ministry of Health will bring everything needed,” Kyrylo Tymoshenko stressed.
Maksym Stepanov reported that his department had already purchased more than 70 thousand biosecurity suits at the cost of the reserve fund. In the future, the Ministry of Health will use the money from the stabilization fund created specifically to combat the epidemic.
