The government is ready to purge the authorities of the people who committed a criminal offence. This was emphasized by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy when speaking with journalists during a visit to the base of the Naval Forces of Ukraine in Ochakiv in the framework of a working trip to the Mykolaiv region.
"We have always said that we were ready for the purge, and that's right. The government, local government, regions and even the Servant of the People party will not have anyone involved in anything criminal," the Head of State said.
According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, he will personally check whether one of the people's deputies of the Servant of the People faction is involved in the commission of a felony, as reported by the media.
"If there is at least one fact tomorrow, at least something, I will force this person to step down. You know we've dismissed two people already. He will probably be the third person if he is involved,” the President said.
