In Copenhagen, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska had an audience with Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and members of the Royal Family, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary.
The Head of State highly appreciated the personal support of the Royal Family for the humanitarian efforts of Danish and international organizations operating in Ukraine.
“The statements and actions of the Royal Family of Denmark in support of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people are very important to us,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.
The President expressed gratitude to the Danish people, government and parliament for their powerful humanitarian, financial and military assistance to Ukraine. In particular, he noted the activities within the Ukraine Support Fund aimed at restoring Ukrainian schools, hospitals, bomb shelters, water, heat and power supply, etc.
The Head of State invited Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary to support investment and humanitarian projects jointly implemented by Ukraine and Denmark.
