President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired a meeting attended by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko, Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Heads of the Office of the President Yulia Svyrydenko and Kyrylo Tymoshenko.
The parties analyzed the events related to the Ryanair passenger plane, which was forced to land at the Minsk airport on May 23.
Given the current situation, the President instructed the government to work out a decision to terminate direct flights between Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus and close the airspace of Belarus for the flights from Ukraine and to our country.
