Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko said that there will be a rotation of 12 Ambassadors of Ukraine in other states.
According to him, most diplomats are in positions much longer than the traditional 4-5 years. Vadym Prystaiko emphasized that this is a planned rotation.
"Today and yesterday, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on each of the leaders, thanked for his work and warned that a decree would be published in the near future. We do not want the leaders of the missions we respect receive this information from the Internet," he said.
In particular, the rotation will affect Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Valeriy Chaly. Vadym Prystayko explained that after the rejection of Valeriy Chaly, the Embassy will continue preparations for the visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the United States under the leadership of the Charge d'Affaires of Ukraine. Currently, the date of the visit is updated and the schedules of the Presidents of both countries are agreed upon.
"A new Head of Mission to the USA is being selected, as well as in the other 12 Embassies, whose leaders will be withdrawn today," Vadim Prystaiko added.
He also specified that the leaders of Ukrainian missions will appoint not only professional diplomats, but also new people.
