Unless we start to knock on all doors, nothing will be build in the country – Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the roads construction in Ivano-Frankivsk

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in a meeting on development of the Carpathian region of Ukraine during his working visit to the Ivano-Frankivsk region.

The Head of State  got acquainted with the problems of financing the construction of roads and other infrastructure projects, as well as the project of development of recreation centers.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged the People's Deputies of Ukraine, who won the early parliamentary elections in majority constituencies, to help with the roads construction.

He also urged to local officials to pay attention to the problems of regional development in order to achieve development in the country.

"If you do not ask questions, meet not only  the President, go to Kyiv, unless you start to knock on all doors, talk about problems every day, nothing in the country will be built. So here you and I are. Let's work,"  he said.

The President emphasized that the issue of roads construction is not his competence, but he had to pay attention to it.

At the same time, Volodymyr Zelenskyy  added that new RSA Head Denys Shmygal, would prepare  a  plan to address the problem of roads construction in the region.

President of Ukraine  also urged the  representatives of local communities to provide relevant projects with estimates before asking for help on the allocation of funds from the State Budget for the construction of infrastructure projects.
