Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Iryna Mudra met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine Masashi Nakagome.
The discussion focused on specific steps to strengthen cooperation in achieving a comprehensive, lasting, and just peace.
"Restoring justice for Ukraine is a crucial element in establishing peace. A peace that is not just cannot be comprehensive, cannot be lasting, and cannot truly be peace," Iryna Mudra stated.
Ambassador Nakagome reaffirmed Japan’s unwavering support for Ukraine and confirmed that his country will continue working toward the establishment of an international compensation mechanism.
Additionally, Iryna Mudra and Masashi Nakagome discussed priority issues related to frozen Russian assets and outlined next steps to advance cooperation.
