On the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson.
The Head of State thanked Sweden for its support of the Ukrainian people and for coordinating efforts with other allies to implement the “peace through strength” approach.
He emphasized that Sweden has made support for Ukraine a top priority in its foreign policy.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Ulf Kristersson discussed coordination with European allies to establish a just and lasting peace and develop security guarantees.
The President stressed the critical importance of continuing defense support for our state and pressuring Russia with sanctions so that Ukraine can enter negotiations from a position of strength.
They also discussed investments in Ukrainian weapons production and the potential for expanding such cooperation. This is important not only for Ukraine, but also for the future of security across Europe.
