Supporting Business and Industry Growth Prospects: President Met with Manufacturers in the Rivne Region

In the Rivne region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held his first meeting with business representatives this year as part of the "Made in Ukraine" and "Government-Business Dialogue" platforms. The event brought together producers of food, clothing, agricultural machinery, woodworking products, agricultural goods, and dairy products, as well as representatives of relocated businesses.

The President briefed entrepreneurs on Ukraine’s steps toward energy independence and the tangible benefits of expanding the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant with additional power units.

“Today, everyone is concerned about stable energy supplies and fair pricing. We will do everything possible to support businesses with energy and costs. We understand how difficult the situation is for businesses and enterprises. Our goal is to create an electricity surplus in Ukraine – we have all the necessary capacity to achieve this. We also must end the war – this remains the number one priority,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated.

During the meeting, participants discussed timber market regulations, efficient land use, and the development of dairy farming. The President instructed government officials to address these issues and develop a compensation program for dairy farm construction.

According to First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko, the Rivne region is a leader in implementing the "Made in Ukraine" policy to support domestic producers. In 2024 alone, local entrepreneurs received over 3 billion UAH in financing through the "Affordable Loans 5-7-9%" program.

“We have allocated funds for all producer support programs that were in place last year – grants, loans, and compensation programs remain active. Additionally, we are working on new initiatives to further support Ukrainian manufacturers, which we will announce soon,” she said.

Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Viktor Mykyta emphasized that the "Government-Business Dialogue" platform has become an effective tool for communication in the economic sector. Over the past few months, more than 400 meetings have been held across 24 regions, involving over 40,000 entrepreneurs and 8,000 government officials and industry experts.
