Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief on Friday.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces reported on the current situation on the battlefield. Particular attention was paid to the most difficult areas of the front - the areas of Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Maryinka in the Donetsk region.

Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov informed the participants of the meeting about the enemy's plans for the near future.

Commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Commander of the “Khortytsia” operational-strategic group of troops Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the "Tavria" operational-strategic group of troops Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, Commander of the "Odesa" operational-strategic group of troops Eduard Moskalyov and Commander of the "Pivnich" operational-strategic group of troops Serhiy Nayev reported on the course of hostilities in the areas of the front within their responsibility.

The supply of Ukrainian troops with weapons and ammunition and their distribution by units was analyzed. Separately, the participants considered the issue of staffing and equipment provision in the newly created brigades.

In addition, the members of the Staff continued to consider the issue of establishing the production of rockets and ammunition by domestic enterprises and improving the efficiency of the repair of armored vehicles, artillery and other weapons.

The meeting was attended by: Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhny, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov, commanders of troops and operational directions. The meeting of the Staff was also joined by members of the government, heads of law enforcement and security agencies.
