During an official visit of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, First Lady Olena Zelenska met with Baroness Liz Sugg, Member of the House of Lords of the British Parliament and Special Envoy for Girls' Education.
The wife of the President and Baroness Sugg discussed the achievements and future plans of Ukraine and the United Kingdom as regards creating equal opportunities for women and men, as well as the steps taken by both countries to combat domestic and gender-based violence in the world.
Following the meeting, Olena Zelenska and Baroness Liz Sugg agreed to continue and expand the initiated dialogue and deepen cooperation between Ukraine and the United Kingdom on gender equality and combating domestic and gender-based violence.
