During their visit to Italy, First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska and First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko honored the memory of Ukrainians fallen in the Revolution of Dignity.
The priests held a prayer service for the fallen at the Ukrainian church in Rome – the Cathedral Church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus and the Icon of the Holy Mother of God of Zhirovichi.
“Neither a thousand days of a full-scale Russian attack nor 10 years of Russian aggression have taken or will take away our dignity and freedom. Because this is who we are. Our essence. Our identity. Our memory, our present and our future. Today, I lit a candle in honor of the Day of Dignity and Freedom, and most importantly, in honor of all those who dedicated their lives to ensuring that Ukrainians have them,” the First Lady stressed.
