Olena Zelenska: We Continue to Prove to the World That Standing With Ukraine Means Standing on the Side of Light

First Lady Olena Zelenska participated in the meeting of the heads of Ukraine's foreign diplomatic missions "War Diplomacy: Resilience, Weapons, Victory" in Dnipro.

In her speech, the President's wife highlighted joint projects with diplomatic representatives. She specifically mentioned the regional summit of the School Meals Coalition, which Ukraine will host for the first time this November.

“We can already share our unique experience in implementing school meal reform in a time of country's defense, and at the same time, our task is to find donors for further modernization of school kitchens. You are the bridge to these vital international contacts and advocates for the reform in the countries of your residence,” Olena Zelenska said.

She also thanked diplomats for their cooperation in opening over 200 Ukrainian bookshelves, launching nearly 90 Ukrainian-language audio guides, and establishing the Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies in Washington.

"Ukrainian studies are exactly what is needed to introduce the real Ukraine to the world in a centralized and professional manner,” the First Lady emphasized.

The President's wife also expressed her gratitude to the diplomatic missions for supporting the humanitarian projects of the Olena Zelenska Foundation by attracting foreign donors to rebuild hospitals and school bomb shelters, purchase gadgets for distance learning, build new housing for large foster families, and establish "Superhero Schools."

Olena Zelenska stressed the importance of diplomatic efforts in organizing the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, which will take place in Kyiv for the fourth time this year. She expressed hope that the new event will be even more successful than the previous one, as it will focus on children's safety.

"The battle for hearts and minds is just as important today as the battle for territories. We continue to prove to the world that standing with Ukraine means standing on the side of light. I am grateful to the Ukrainian diplomatic missions for doing this," the First Lady concluded.
